About the Role

In this role, you would:

  • Create qualified pipeline of seed stage and beyond companies.
  • Identify, contact, and meet founders, CFOs, and COOs who can benefit from the Shoobx platform.
  • Hold discovery conversations to qualify prospects and capture their pain points that will need to be solved in sales process.
  • Schedule demos of the Shoobx platform for qualified prospects.
  • Drive new customer growth through increasing top of funnel activity and working with sales team to convert opportunities.
  • Partner with key stakeholders in the venture ecosystem.

Growth Marketing Lead

As Growth Marketing Lead for Shoobx, your responsibilities will include developing and executing the marketing strategy—encompassing brand management, lead generation, PR, and growth. You will define cohesive messaging and branding, drive marketing strategy, and create top-notch marketing collateral.

Our ideal candidate is motivated, resourceful, self-directed, able to build consensus, and will not only operate in the chaos of a startup-like environment but thrive in it. You must be able to prioritize needs between executives and projects, proactively reach out to offer and receive guidance from your team members, and solve roadblocks on your own. This is an individual contributor role.

Product Designer

Shoobx is looking for a talented and thoughtful UX Designer to join our team designing web-based software—a workflow-based platform for the generation and execution of corporate legal documents. We’re looking for someone with the ability to see the big picture while sweating the details. The UX Designer will work closely with product leadership and the engineering team to define and develop features. Through the creation of mock-ups, wireframes, and style guides the UX Designer will set the visual and interaction design aspects of the product.

Customer Support Specialist

Shoobx is looking for an energetic, hard-working individual to join our client service team as a Customer Support Specialist. This role will have primary responsibility for how we support clients using our platform—through support tickets, our self-help library, and other educational materials. You will have the opportunity to help improve and evolve these activities, ensuring that our clients consistently get support that is friendly, effective, and efficient.

You will be responsible for responding to customer support requests and offering guidance on best practices for use of the Shoobx platform, consulting with our developers to solve problems, and communicating customer feedback to our product team. This role will also provide opportunities to contribute to other initiatives our client service team undertakes.

In order to excel in this role, a candidate needs excellent verbal and written communication skills, solid attention to detail, an ability to keep multiple projects organized and moving forward, and a willingness to dive in and learn new things. A passion for startups helps too! This individual should be engaging, tech-savvy, and interested in working with emerging companies. Ideally candidates will have some experience supporting customers in a technology company or startup environment. No legal or technical experience is required, just an appetite to learn!

Customer Success Manager

Shoobx is looking for an engaging, driven individual to join our client service team as a Customer Success Manager. This role will be part of the team that builds and maintains relationships with our clients—by helping them through onboarding, getting to know their business goals and helping them achieve those goals using Shoobx, and ensuring a smooth renewal process.

Your primary responsibility in this role will be account management. This will include building relationships with a group of companies of varying sizes and stages, identifying personas in each type of company and tailoring interactions to meet their needs, and building resources to enable our team to assist these companies at scale. Activities to support those efforts may include: developing an email outreach campaign to grow product adoption; hosting regular check in meetings with rapidly growing companies; assisting in onboarding and training of new clients; consulting with startups as they raise funding; and working with partners, accelerators and other stakeholders in the startup ecosystem. While this role will have primary responsibility for client relationship management, you will also be responsible for responding to customer support requests, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to other initiatives our client service team undertakes.

In order to excel in this role, a candidate needs excellent communication and relationship management skills, a desire to help clients use the Shoobx platform successfully, and an eagerness to create Shoobx evangelists. This individual should be curious, driven, engaging, and tech-savvy. We expect that successful candidates will have between 4-6 years of experience working in a customer success or account management role in a B2B SaaS company or startup environment, including working with executive contacts, securing renewals, and creating customer education and engagement plans.

Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, full stack web application developer to help us bring our technology platform to the next level and scale it to many thousands of customers. (I know that’s a cliche, but keep reading.) There is an abundance of interesting problems to solve, from extending PDF generating libraries to developing an IDE for workflow creation. While we solve most of our problems using Python, we also use other languages and tools to get the job done. We are a small engineering team with lots of startup, open-source, and web application experience. We pride ourselves on using and contributing to open-source projects that we use in developing our platform.

Responsibilities
  • Perform feature development and testing, creating test cases and capturing results/evidence
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Troubleshoot issues by reviewing logs, code, and other system data
  • Investigate and apply new technologies to improve the platform
  • Actively participate in daily standup and engineering meetings
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable experience
  • At least 3 years of experience developing and testing web applications
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (Java, Python, or equivalent) desired
  • Experience developing with and testing web browsers, such as IE, Firefox, and Chrome are pluses
  • Experience with web technologies, such as Javascript, AJAX, HTML, and CSS is a plus
